Italians, especially from the South, are obsessed with weather so, when booking a trip, the first thing they do is checking forecasts.

If you are going to book a home vacation for your family or a romantic suite, have a look below:

What is the best month to visit Sorrento?

Let’s start saying that “high season” in Sorrento Area starts at the beginning of April, around Easter, and continues until the end of October.

Summer is hot while winter is not too cold, so, the most important thing to think about when booking your holiday is what you are going to do: sunbathing on our exclusive beaches? Having fun on a boat tour to Capri Island or along the Amalfi Coast? If the idea of being surrounded by tourists from all over the world is not a problem, we would say that the best period for you is between June and July.

If you would rather be among italian tourists, then August is the perfect month, always holiday period for us. If you think that in the long run the crowd could annoy, do not forget to choose one of our villas with private pool: there’s nothing better!

If you are thinking about something more calm, looking for culture for example, a tour of Pompeii Archeological site is a must. In that case, May or September are the option: a little rain is for sure better then crowd. In the last years we had a great weather in October, so this coud be a option as well!

Generally speaking, November is the rainiest and windiest month, there is not a lot to do, but if you need to save some money, fingers crossed, it could still be a good solution!
If you will be in one of our homes/apartments closer to the center, our team will still suggest you activities like, for example, a Cooking Class or a Pizza making School.

Lastly, if you wish to see Sorrento in a different way, the suggestion is to come in December, when the city is decorated with Christmas lights. In this period there are also a lot of events always connected to Christmas Holidays.

The weather is never too cold and it allows relaxing walks on the famous Corso Italia as well as shopping in the typical shops. It could be a option for a romantic weekend.
